FABULOUS CUP AND GGVIII EVENTS
RULES / SANCTIONING
The Ice Skating Institute (ISI) will endorse Figure Skating at The Fabulous Cup and Gay Games VIII. Updates to ISI rules prior to the competition may necessitate alterations to events and/or rules. ALL SKATERS ARE REQUIRED TO BE ISI MEMBERS in good standing by the start of each competition and be ISI TESTED TO THE APPROPRIATE SKILL LEVEL.
AGE GROUPS / SKILL LEVELS
Each event will be divided into the following age groups:
| Young Adults | 18 to 24 years old |
| Class I | 25 to 35 years old |
| Class II | 36 to 45 years old |
| Class III | 46 to 55 years old |
| Class IV | 56 years old and over |
All skaters must be ISI tested to their appropriate Skill Level. ISI Testing Requirements can be found by clicking here. IGFSU will help facilitate ISI membership and testing for all Gay Games and Fabulous Cup figure skating participants.
Skaters who have passed US Figure Skating (USFS) Tests are required by ISI rules to test up to the comparable ISI Level. Below is a comparison of ISI and USFS Levels for Freestyle and Dance.
